My Learning Journey with Microsoft Learn šŸŒŸ

One evening, while browsing through tech forums, I found out about the Microsoft learn student ambassador programme. Where they had a mandatory training program in Microsoft Learn.

Exploring Microsoft Learn

The website was easy to navigate, and the tutorials were hands-on, which made learning fun. I started with some basic modules and soon found myself diving into more advanced topics.

What I Learned

Hereā€™s a quick look at some of the courses I completed and what I learned from each one:

ā˜ļø Cloud Computing Basics

  1. What is Cloud Computing? (23 min)
Think of cloud computing as renting space instead of buying a whole building. I learned the basicsā€”how the cloud is flexible, can grow with your needs, and saves money.

  4. Fundamentals of Generative AI (1 hr 13 min)
I gained an understanding of generative AI, including its principles and applications. The module covered how generative models, such as GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), work and their use in creating new content, such as images, music, and text.

  5. Fundamentals of Azure OpenAI Service (1 hr 3 min)
This module focused on Azureā€™s OpenAI Service, exploring how to use it to leverage powerful AI models like GPT-3. I learned how to integrate these models into applications to perform tasks such as text generation, summarization, and language translation.

  6. Fundamentals of Responsible Generative AI (50 min)
This module emphasized the importance of ethical considerations and responsible use of generative AI. I learned about the potential risks and challenges associated with generative AI, such as bias and misinformation, and how to mitigate them through best practices and guidelines.
